Donors & Partners
EnDev is a strategic partnership of likeminded donors to promote energy access. Funding is currently supported by the governments of Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland. Additional cooperation with leading international organizations and key local stakeholders ensures that EnDev works with the best expertise to lead, advocate, and make access to modern energy happen.
EnDev is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DGIS), the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
The programme is co-managed by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl).
Strong alliance of partners
EnDev works with partners – both at the global and country level – who are committed to accelerating energy access and socio-economic development.
Further financial contributions to EnDev have been provided by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the European Union, Icelandic International Development Agency, IKEA Foundation, Irish Aid, Korea Foundation for International Healthcare, Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland, Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, and the United States Agency for International Development.
In 2019, implementing organizations included AVSI, SNV, Practical Action, HIVOS and CLASP, alongside GIZ and RVO. At country-level, EnDev projects cooperate with international, regional, bilateral and multilateral programmes.
EnDev welcomes new partnerships – both at the global or country level – that are aligned to EnDev’s objectives and principles.Get in touch to become a partner
