Consultancy Services for the Sale, Distribution and after-sales support support of solar irrigation systems in Uganda
Under the Sustainable Energy for Smallholder Farmers (SEFFA) project, EnDev Uganda seeks to increase access of Solar Powered Irrigation Systems (SPIS) by smallholder farmers in East and Central Uganda by supporting distributors in the sale, distribution, and after-sales service of the systems. In that regard, EnDev Uganda is looking for distributors to partner with in the sale, distribution, and after-sales support of high-quality SPIS.
Eligibility criteria
Qualified and experienced solar water pump/solar irrigation system distributors that are duly registered and operating in Uganda are encouraged to apply. Interested companies can also apply as a consortium with one company acting as a lead agency.
Application process
The specifications and details of the submission requirements can be (electronically) requested from the GIZ Country Office starting from 4th February 2022. Submit your email request to Procurement-GIZ-Uganda@giz.de indicating “83400972- Consultancy services for the sale, distribution and after-sales support of SPIS in East and Central Uganda” no later than Monday, 21st February 2022.
Deadline
Interested applicants should submit their application electronically by Friday, 25th February 2022, 4.00pm (EAT) to Procurement-GIZ-Uganda@giz.de indicating “83400972- Consultancy services for the sale, distribution and after-sales support of SPIS in East and Central Uganda”.
Late submissions will not be accepted!
Eligible providers should submit their Technical and Financial proposals in two separate zip folders.
All questions/queries pertaining to this tender should be electronically channeled to the GIZ Office Kampala procurements team (Procurement-GIZ-Uganda@giz.de).
Requests for clarification should be received no later than 21st February 2022: Five days before submission deadline.
