Uganda invites bids from competent and eligible fi rms to
provide consultancy services for a Market Survey For
After Sales Services Provision In Uganda’s Cooking
Sector. - Requesting for Tender Documents and Terms of
Reference
Interested and eligible bidders can obtain detailed bidding/
tender documents in soft copy form only. To request
the bidding/tender documents, please send an email to
procurement-giz-uganda@giz.de starting the date of
the fi rst publication of this tender. Ensure that you include
the tender reference number: ‘83492699 – After Sales
Survey – EnDev’, in the subject line of your email. - Seeking Clarification Regarding the Bidding

All requests for clarifi cations regarding this tendering
process must be submitted in writing and addressed to
GIZ Uganda via email at procurement-giz-uganda@giz.
de at least 5 days before the bid submission deadline.
Please include the tender reference number: ‘83492699
4. Bid Submission Deadline
Interested bidders should submit their bids/offers
electronically by 25.07.2025, 4:00 PM (EAT) to UG_
Quotation@giz.de. Please indicate the tender reference
number: ‘83492699 – After Sales Survey – EnDev’ in the
subject line of your email.
Important Information to Note
a. Failure to indicate the tender reference number in the
subject may disqualify your offer directly as it may fail to be
received in the tender box.
b. Late submissions will not be accepted.
c. Only bids submitted to UG_Quotation@giz.de are
acceptable.
d. Bids submitted with GIZ staff or other GIZ emails in copy
shall be rejected.
e. You should have the priced offer submitted as a PDF. Do
not encrypt offers since they may be incompatible with
GIZ software.
f. Use two separate emails to submit the technical and
fi nancial proposals. Submit the technical proposal in one
email and the fi nancial proposal in a separate email.
Include tender reference number, ‘83492699’ in the email
subject.
g. Only use GIZ’s fi le transfer service at https://fi letransfer.
giz.de/ for submitting documents that exceed the default
mail size of 30 MB. Using other forms of fi le transfer
disqualifi es your offer.
h. Should you use the fi le transfer in (g) above, ensure
you submit the password before the bid submission
deadline and time, and include tender reference number,
83492699’ in the email subject. Failure to provide the
password, your offer cannot be opened and will be
disqualifi ed automatically.
i. The fi nancial offer should be submitted in Uganda
Shillings.
j. Failure to follow any of the above instructions may result
in your offer being encrypted and/or rejected.
GIZ reserves the right to cancel this process at any
stage without informing the providers and without
any obligation to refund the providers who will have
participated in this tender process.
