In that regard, EnDev Uganda is looking for distributors to partner with in the sale, distribution, and after-sales service of solar home systems for productive use of energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility criteria<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Qualified and experienced solar home systems distributors that are duly registered and operating in Uganda are encouraged to apply. Interested companies can also apply as a consortium with one company acting as a lead agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility documents required (<em>eligibility assessment grid to be part of tendering documents) and assessment will be done on pass\/fail basis. Non-compliant bids will be eliminated.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Certificate of incorporation\/ Registration<\/li><li>Valid trading license<\/li><li>Power of attorney authorising signatory to the bids\/ offers submitted to sign on behalf of the firm<\/li><li>Copy of Tax Registration certificate<\/li><li>Form 7 (shareholders\/ Directors)<\/li><li>Annual returns to URSB for the last 3 years<\/li><li>Audited accounts for the last 3 years certified by certified accountants<\/li><li>Valid copy of income tax clearance certificate addressed to GIZ<\/li><li>Company organogram\/ Structure showing Internal staff<\/li><li>Bid validity period of 120 working days.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Experience required<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants should have physical and operational experience in the sale and distribution of solar home systems for productive use of energy in Uganda of at least two (2) years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Staff required for the assignment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants should have an experienced and competent team for project implementation, with the team\/ technical lead having a minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in the sale and distribution of solar home systems for productive use of energy, and a minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience for the other team members\/ pool of experts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Request for Bidding\/Tendering Documents and detailed terms of reference.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested and eligible bidders shall obtain detailed bidding\/tendering documents in soft copy form only.&nbsp; Kindly submit your request for bidding\/ tender documents by email to <a href=\"mailto:Procurement-giz-uganda@giz.de\"><strong>Procurement-giz-uganda@giz.de<\/strong><\/a><strong>,<\/strong> starting from <strong>Thursday 5<sup>th<\/sup> May 2022 <\/strong>by indicating; <em>\u201c<a><\/a><a><strong>83408271-<\/strong><\/a><\/em><strong> Consultancy services for the sale, distribution and after-sales services of SHS to MSMEs in Uganda<\/strong><em>\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Request for clarifications on bidding documents\/Terms of reference\/terms and condition of the tender.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All requests for clarifications to this tendering process shall be in writing and should be addressed to GIZ Uganda <strong>via<\/strong> email to <a href=\"mailto:Procurement-giz-uganda@giz.de\"><strong>Procurement-giz-uganda@giz.de<\/strong><\/a><strong>. <\/strong>Requests for clarification should be received no later than: <strong>Five (05) days<\/strong> before submission deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bids\/ Offers Submission Deadline date and time<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested bidders should submit their bids\/offers electronically by <strong>Thursday 26<sup>th<\/sup> May 2022, 4.00pm (EAT) <\/strong>to <strong>UG_Quotation@giz.de<\/strong> indicating in the subject <strong>83408271 &#8211; Consultancy services for the sale, distribution and after-sales services of SHS to MSMEs in Uganda\u201d<\/strong>. Late submissions will not be accepted!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two separate emails should be used one submitting technical proposal\/offer and second email submitting Financial Proposal\/Offer.
