The current phase of the EEP Africa program started early 2018 with financial support by Finland, Austria and Nordic Development Fund (NFD). A consortium of KPMG (lead), Enclude and SNV is assisting NDF with the implementation of the EEP Africa Program.

Both EnDev and EEP adhere a market based approach, have a strong focus on local SME encouragement and on boosting economic development. Both programs have a strong network basis in Sub Sahara Africa.
